The Sounds of Accra : Gyedu Blay Ambolley.

This is old school Ghanaian, yet is both still so popular and so current in it’s local beat. Okay so as an Obroni I have absolutely no clue what the song is about, but I absolutely love the reaction the track gets when it comes to play. I love the way the locals react to the song, the way they dance to the song and of course the way they know all the words and the exaggerations. If you ever go to Ghana, or Accra, then at least once you have to be in a bar or club, like Afikiko or +233 when this comes on the decks, it really is a true Ghanian experience.
